Getting between the lifts and the shops

  • The free bus: four lines, every day from 7:30 to 20:00, reaching all the lifts, and you get on with your skis and snowboard at no extra cost.
  • Between the two sides: the Ski Link takes you from one side of the valley to the other during skiing hours. The timetable changes from season to season: check it on the lift company’s website before you count on it.
  • Storage: several shops have lockers near the lifts, some of them heated. You leave your skis and boots in the evening and find them dry in the morning.

Snowboards and the snowpark

Livigno is one of the capitals of freestyle: at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics the Mottolino’s Livigno Snow Park hosted big air, halfpipe, slopestyle and cross. If you’re starting to jump, begin at Amerikan, on the Carosello side. All the shops in the ranking hire snowboards; for the park ask for a board shorter and softer than the one you’d ride on the piste.
